Keeping busy and creative with my 3D Printer

Having some fun with pictures and my 3D printer. Took this image of my Emma and Bandit and created a Lithophane. Give the short video a few seconds to load.

“A lithophane (French: lithophanie) is an etched or molded artwork in very thin translucent porcelain that can be seen clearly only when back lit with a light source.”

So after converting the image to Black and White, tweaked some settings on my slicer program, loaded up some white filament on my 3D printer and after 9 hours of print time – viola!
