Me and the familia went downtown to the Shakespeare in the Park at La Villita downtown yesterday. I took my Sony A6000 and one lens. It was my 50mm with no zoom but a whopping 24 megapixels, this meant I could crop in as my zoom. I need to get better at using this camera and I wanted to shoot the Falconry exhibition with Last Chance Forever!
I was tough trying to focus on those birds but I did get some good shots. More bad than good though but I need to get better with my Sony A6000. I sure did miss my Nikon D7000 though.
I really enjoyed the atmosphere though, lots of medieval stuff and fun to things to watch. But man was it hot! I really got to give it those characters in costume! They had to have been hotter than us!

WOW! I wish we had know that was going on down there . Falcons, eagles and owls are amazing creatures! The photos are so breathtaking. Great Job Gilbert!
The birds were amazing! And on the river…must have been awesome. My fav is the axe man cometh, had you sweating there g-man. Good job.
