Took a picture of some Texas Rain Lilies and then converted it to B&W. It was Liz’s idea. I like the photo.
This morning, while driving my son and daughter to school, Emmy pointed out the Texas Rain Lilies that have bloomed after the much needed rain in San Antonio. It made me smile when she recounted the story of when she was little and she picked a bunch for her “mommie.”
I remember that day like it was yesterday…she was only 4 years old…sigh.
During work, I was talking to my buddy Mike about how we should get out and shoot more photography. Well, I took the advice and after I dropped my son off at his Boy Scout meeting, I pulled over by a car wash off Thousand Oaks and started snapping some pictures of this nice little patch of lilies blooming in front of it.
These things were growing EVERYWHERE! I even saw some Orange ones mixed in with the white ones.
I posted a galler y below. Click on the images for a larger view.
Thanks for letting me share.
