If you know anything about me is that I’m a die hard Star Wars fan and one of my heroes is the iconic astromech droid, R2D2. As mentioned previously I loved building models and this scratched that itch again. I found a model online and let me tell you, it was a commitment.
18 plates and over 36hrs of print time. But I didn’t have to paint it since I had most of the colored filament. So I started printing, then assembly. What a joy. The video below is little longer than my under 2mins format (3mins) but I feel it’s well worth the watch.
